Panel Quote has supported the New Zealand repair industry for over 20 years, providing estimating, workflow management, and insurer connectivity to hundreds of repair businesses nationwide. During that time, the industry has become increasingly dependent on system-to-system data exchange.
As integration demands increased, it became clear that repairers were being placed in the middle of complex, bilateral data arrangements that they could not reasonably govern, audit, or control. Expectations around data access, security, and availability were rising, while responsibility was often being pushed downstream.

SmartLink was created to address this gap. It separates core business management systems from the infrastructure required to securely exchange data between insurers, repairers, assessors, suppliers, and approved industry platforms.
While SmartLink originated from real-world operational experience, it operates independently of any single business management system. SmartLink does not preference Panel Quote or any other participant, and access is governed by the same approval, security, and neutrality principles for all parties.
SmartLink exists to support the industry as a whole by providing neutral, permissioned data exchange infrastructure that reflects how the ecosystem actually operates.
